URGENT CARE Opens March 5th

Scotland County Hospital and Clinics is pleased to announce the opening of a Saturday Urgent Care Clinic located at the South Main Entrance/ER Entrance (Parking Lot C).  Our Urgent Care is scheduled to open Saturday, March 5th at 8 am.  The clinic will be open every Saturday from  8 am - 2 pm.

What is an urgent care clinic? How does it differ from a hospital emergency room? How does it differ from a clinic visit?  Urgent care generally includes minor illnesses and injuries that do not require treatment at a hospital emergency department.  Our Saturday Urgent Care Clinic is similar to our     Walk-In Clinic at Memphis Medical Services which is offered Monday through Friday.  If you have a medical condition on Saturday that can't wait until Monday to be treated at our clinics, choose our Urgent Care on Saturdays from 8 am-2 pm.  Our Urgent Care services are provided on a walk-in basis; no appointment necessary.  Urgent care is not a substitute for emergency care.  In general, an emergency condition is one that can permanently impair or endanger the life of an individual.

From ear infections to sprains & strains and things in between, an urgent care clinic is a resource for affordable, easy to access, quality health care that is an alternative to costly emergency room visits. Urgent care focuses solely on non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, with less expense than a traditional hospital emergency room visit.

The Urgent Care Clinic on Saturdays is staffed by the same providers that staff our Walk-In Clinic at Memphis Medical Services Monday through Friday.  When it just can't wait, and it's not an emergency, choose our Urgent Care Clinic at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
